This landscaping bonanza is talked about all around the city!  And we agree!  Landscaping the front and back yards is key to selling your home in this market.  With some minor and in some cases major landscaping projects your home will stand out from the others. 

We see it day in and day out, a beautifully remodeled or updated home only to find a lackluster presentation in the yard.  People and families love to play and entertain inside and out.  The latest trend is to develop a seemless transition from the inside right out to the yard. Some homes have continued a similar tile from the family room right out to the covered patio.  This extends the view making the room feel larger.  Spruce up the patio with an outdoor area rug, new furniture cushions, and make it sparkle.  Beyond the patio add a touch of color to the yard.  Lantana make great color spots in our desert summer sun.

Take a good look out that kitchen window.  What is the prospetive buyer looking at?  Think of some ways to enhance their view of your yard/patio area.  What will make them feel good about your home?

And don't forget about that front entry!  It's the first thing a prospective buyer and agent see.  So dust off the handle and the cobwebs, hose off the sidewalk, and add a potted plant or two. 

There are lots of ideas that don't take a lot of money.  Just a trip to the Big Box hardware store and some elbow grease will make quite a difference.
